Huatcorica drink 中华美食坊 (Taman Sri Rambai, 南美园) Review

Huat Ah! Means being prosperity in Mandarin... I manage to came across this cute name, Huatcorica at Taman Sri Rambai just opposite the market. What caught my attention is the price. It's in trend to enjoy drinks in a plastic tumbler now due reasons like extra volume, easier to handle and also can reuse! Like Huatcorica, they will give you a free drink if you refill your drink (at RM3 each refill) using their tumbler, and they will give you the 6th drink FOC!

Now, the best part is that it is only RM4.90 including tumbler and a free drink! YUP! FREE DRINK!!! But drink choice is up to you to decide, you can choose any of their drinks from Milo, Coffee, Nescafe and many more! Ask the Tao Keh (boss) on what they have...

I bought a pink tumbler!
RM4.90 drinks included!

Tambun Seafood Restaurant 淡汶海鲜饭店 (Juru) Review

Tambun in Penang mainland is also famous for seafood. This restaurant has the name of Tambun but it is actually located near Autocity Juru and it is easily spotted along the road. We came here a few times for special occasion and we came again today for Father's Day lunch.

Air Optix Colors Contact Lenses Review

Whether you are looking for a subtle or vibrant effect, AIR OPTIX ® COLORS contact lenses offer an option for you. With AIR OPTIX ® COLORS contact lenses, enjoy breathable, comfortable, and beautiful contact lens wear in a full range of colors—with or without vision correction.

Personally, I trusted Air Optix and has been a wearer of Air Optix Aqua for almost 10 years now. I find that Air Optix are more comfortable wearing compared to other brands because it is more breathable. In this review, I will try and comment on Air Optix Colors, which come in 9 series of colors, and I try out Pure Hazel, because I doesn't want to look too odd when wearing the lenses.

Honestly, I was thinking that the Pure Hazel Color would be a little more dense so that it will look more obvious when wearing. I also noticed that it is also Made in Malaysia.
Before wearing it
I personally have dark brown eyes to begin with.

After wearing it

Review Summary:
Texture/Feeling: Soft and thin, very comfortable wearing for more than 8 hours. I accidentally have a little nap with Jelly while wearing and it feels a little uncomfortable for a while to stimulate my eyes to be moist, then it appears to be OK. While wearing it won't make you feel like you are wearing lenses at all. It looks natural also, and it doesn't have "Big Eyes" effect. Overall I love this lens. Will consider to purchase again if they have Big Eyes Effect... LOL! (8/10)
Price: Retail Price is selling at RM90 per pair (As of June 2016) but you can get cheaper with Mr Lens
Source: Normal optical shops sells them. But I prefer to order online to being avoided to be slashed by the shop to add more items... Review on Mr Lens HERE, or visit their website HERE.

Notes to add:
~ Pregnancy will cause short sighted eye power to fluctuate and becomes inaccurate due to hormones. It is advisable not to change your spec/lens power and need to wait 3 months after birth only to check again for your eye power. Some may be different after birth but mine remains the same.
~They have 9 colors to choose from as below:
Air Optix Colors
~ Monthly disposable.
~ Cleanliness is very important to ensure the health of your eyes, always wash your hands before handling the lenses. Please use certified and qualified solution to wash and store the lenses in a clean case.

2D1N Penang Free and Easy with my Toddler

Having a toddler during travel can be very hectic. This is when my brother came back from overseas and wanted to have a very short and simple family gathering and outing. Time can be really tied up with my toddler wanted to nap and sleep or suddenly delayed because I need to change her diapers because she just pooped! OMG... It is not easy travelling with toddlers as how adults does.

Sudocrem (Nappy Cream) Review

As for a new parent, besides getting diapers that suits your baby's skin, it is also important to get a good diaper rash cream. Babies wore diapers 24/7 and it can easily cause nappy rash. All babies encounter nappy rash.

To share my story, I thought I was very lucky when Jelly doesn't develop any nappy rash until one day when suddenly her skin reacted to a type of diaper brand which doesn't suits her and it gets very bad. In panic mode, her aunt gave me Sudocrem to try and she swears by it. FYI on her testimonial, her son's rash healed the next day, so I felt might as well use them to reduce her rash. But Jelly recover slower than her cousin. Only after 3 days, her rash reduced and no more inflamed (Of course I also use cloth diaper and let her air dry, not using disposable diapers except at night).

This is the information of Sudocrem I get from the internet:
Sudocrem contains beneficial active ingredients such as zinc oxide, benzyl benzoate, benzyl cinnamate, and lanolin that help soothe, restore and protect baby’s delicate skin. Its water repellent base is said to protect baby’s skin by forming a barrier, helping to stop nappy rash-causing irritants coming into contact with the skin. It also contains anti-fungal and antibacterial properties as well as ingredients of Peru Balsam, recognized for its antiseptic and ability to promote the recovery of minor wounds.

Entopia by Butterfly Farm Penang (Teluk Bahang)

My brother and her girlfriend planned to go to Entopia since it is just newly launched in May. I tag along with Jelly and my mom since I still haven't visited the place after renovation and I had seen people posting about it and it really looks beautiful after a renovation! I will share some photos here for you guys too see. It is a place to bring big kids and small kids (and even toddlers and babies) to come and have some bug experience! This place is not suitable for Entomophobia (People who scared of bugs) because the butterflies fly freely.

Eton Hotel (Georgetown Penang) Review

My brother wanted to spend more time in Penang island therefore he had booked a hotel for us to stay a night. Since it's a last minute thing, he just booked a room at Eton Hotel. We arrived at the hotel around 4pm to check in and we tour around a little of the place. Because of it's strategic location at town area, it is a little pricey with the product or services provide.

New World Park Hawker Center

New World Park is located near a town area and has most of the Penang Hawker food that tourist want to try. My brother and I thought of dining there as it is also more comfortable and has baby chair provided (Travelling with a toddler can be hectic) and they had TV to keep baby busy for just a few seconds while I quickly pour my food in my stomach... We parked at their car park and take a seat and start ordering! Because I am with Jelly, I didn't manage to take plenty of the surrounding photos (this is when I miss Jelly's daddy because he didn't came with me!)

So, let's Start Eating before Jelly turns the table! These are the food we ordered that day. Some of it my brother paid and I can't remember the price.

The Lawn by Eco Terrace (Paya Terubong)

Since weather is so beautiful, my brother and I planned a visit to The Lawn by Eco Terrace at Paya Terubong. It was rather easier to find and easily spotted while driving along the road. It was a weekday and there are not many people. We arrived and park at the car park provided walk through the lobby and walk up the slope towards The Lawn.

Miraku Japanese Cuisine at G Hotel (Gurney Penang)

Japanese cuisine is one of my favourite cuisine... and also is my brother and family. We manage to pay a visit to Miraku Japanese Cuisine at G Hotel on 1st floor. The place looks very authentic with simple Japanese interior design.

It is another normal weekday when my family has the craving urge to eat meat (actually it's me that having the meat craving... LOL!). I am not sure about other states but Penang wet market will not sell fresh pork meat on Monday, but this won't stop us from eating Bak Kut Teh from a local shop!
