Disposable Diaper Review (Mamy Poko Easy Fit Pants)

I had been keen on having Jelly to wear tape type of diapers until in November 2015 I noticed there is a PWP(purchase with purchase) offer for Mamy Poko pants. Since Jelly started moving around, I think might as well get a packet to try, since Mamy Poko is a well trusted brand by most parents. I bought the Mamy Poko Easy Fit Pants in Giant at RM23 for L38 (Price is cheaper due to PWP).

This post I will review on Mamy Poko Easy Fit Pants.

This is how the packaging looks like (mainly Yellow with a little Blue corners). Sorry for the crumble packaging as it is almost finished. The L size is suited for 9kg to 14kg. But still need to see the baby's backside and thigh.

Packaging

This is how Jelly wears it. I can't manage to catch her to stand. As you can see, her thighs are slightly "fuller", which caused the pants to curved into her V line and it will expose her buttocks. As I scared that the side of the pants will rub against her V line and cause rash or blister when she moves a lot, I don't really let her wear it if she is at home. I also need to always pull out the pants to avoid it curl in.

Jelly Squatting. I pull out the side diaper to cover her buttock before taking the photo.

Front view of Jelly wearing it.
The side of the diaper easily curled into her V Line.

Front View.
How to know it's front? Notice the thin blue string lines on top at the waist band?
That is the indicator for being the front.

Back View.
It doesn't have the thin blue string on top and the Mamy Poko designs are up side down.

The inner part.

Review Summary:
Absorption: Good, leaving baby with almost dry skin after wee wee
Texture/Feeling: Soft and thinner compared to PetPet
Price: RM24.90 - RM26.95 (Price sourced from SmartShopper Andriod App)
Leakage: If baby moves a lot with squatting and crawling, it is likely to leak a bit as the leak guards are a bit loose if it is curled inside baby's V Line. But it is fitted nicely if it didn't curled inside
Source: Easy to find as mostly found in supermarket, hypermarket, or even online shopping
Notes to add: Jelly doesn't develop nappy rash from wearing it, but if I didn't always adjust her diaper to cover her buttock, the faction of her crawling and moving will cause her V line to have redness. After trying this pants type, I still prefer the tape type as I can adjust the looseness of the side and covering her buttock. One disadvantage of having a pant type is when Jelly poo, I need to tear off the sides to avoid the poo being splattered other place rather than on her buttock only. To throw away with poo also seems messy as I can't tie it like tape type which has a cleaner neater wrap after poo.
In conclusion, I will only use this diaper when out for shopping and will still prefer using back the tape type.
