Fitti Gold is another sub-brand from the same company as Pet Pet. Both Fitti and Pet Pet are from DSG (M) Sdn Bhd. Fitti Gold is designed as a quality premium tape & pants baby diapers brand. It mentioned that the 0.4cm thickness pad core provides superior absorbency which keeps baby's delicate skin fresh and dry always. In this blog, I will do a review of the diaper.
I totally forgot to snap a photo of the front of the diaper packaging, and this image I had gotten from the web.
Fitti Gold Tape packaging (baby varies by size) |
The packaging is in light gold or beige color.
Some of the note in Mandarine: -
Notice for using the diaper on the packaging |
- If irritation occurs, stop wearing immediately.
- This plastic bag is not a toy. Keep plastic bags away from babies and children to avoid the risk of suffocation
- The diaper is flammable, please keep baby away from the fire source.
- Timely change a diaper and change the diaper after baby pass motion. Make sure baby's skin has been washed and cleanse when wearing on a new diaper.
- Keep the product in a cool & dry place, and avoid under sunlight.
- Throw used diaper in a respective waste bin and do not throw and flush in a toilet bowl.
Manufactured in China |
M size package has 44pcs and is suitable for baby from 6-11kg. The sizing information is only for reference purpose and the actual size of which diaper the baby should wear really depends on your baby's backside. If it doesn't fit, please readjust the size.
Comparing both Pet Pet Tape and Fitti Gold, it seems that even both are M size, the side of the diaper varies. Pet Pet Tape appears to be smaller in size, the texture of the diaper also a bit stiffer and it is also thicker. Pet Pet Tape doesn't have wetness indicator like Fitti Gold Tape does. Absorption wise, both nearly the same.
Baby Wearing experience
Piggy was 6 months old and wearing M when she was around 9kg. It seems a little loose and the tape was nicely fitted on her hips. the velcro also enables easy readjustment for more comfort. I like the side velcro tape as it is stretchable. It also has side guards to avoid spillage. It also has a wetness indicator to know if the baby had urinated.

Review Summary:
Absorption: Good, leaving the baby with almost dry skin after wee wee. Has a Wetness Indicator.
Texture/Feeling: It has similar softness inside and outside layers.
Price: Single package of M44 is priced around RM17.30 onwards (RM0.39/pc onwards, excluding shipping, price as of June 2019)
Leakage: Very less as it absorbs quickly even with the baby moving around, also it has leak guards.
Source: Can be found in most Hypermarkets or purchase online like LAZADA.
Notes to add: Piggy doesn't develop a nappy rash from wearing it during daytime and night time. It has a wetness indicator which is a big help for me to see if my baby is wet instead of opening and touching to feel if it is wet. But it is a little thin to wear for overnight, therefore I will make sure I would change the diaper before Piggy head to bed and change the diaper 1st thing she woke up in the morning. It is also manufactured in China.
