HappyBaby Superfood / Organic Puffs Review

Jelly is a picky eater. She always choose what goes in her mouth, and often sees it before she eats them. My husband's cousin sister gave me a bottle of Happybaby puffs when Jelly was around 7 months old. She loves them from then until now! I've tried several flavors like apples, sweet potato & carrot, strawberry & beet, and purple carrot & blueberry. Jelly never rejected any of them!

The three bottles of puffs which I had bought.

Why Jelly loves it? Because it doesn't have strong flavor and it is crunchy upon biting but it will melt when in contact with saliva. But this depends from babies to babies. Some babies after trying on solid will reject this product because the taste is very mild. Jelly just loves snacking on them, and I often offer it to her when she is hungry and I am not convenient to nurse her (example, when I am driving).

It has a lot of information on the bottle itself. There are two types, one is Superfood puffs with lots of mixtures of fruits and vegetable and another is Organic puffs with lesser mix of fruits or vegetables. Organic puffs are recommended for baby first food and Superfood puffs mentioned is for crawling babies. But Jelly love both of them.

One thing I don't like is the bottle design which is not air tight. After opening, it is advisable to transfer to an air tight container, else it will turn musty. It even mentioned for maximum freshness use within 7 days.

Why Happy Puff and When is your child ready for happybaby puffs

They even mentioned when will it be ready for your baby to eat puffs (Solid).

Your child may be ready when he/she can do the following:
  • Crawl on hands and knees, without tummy touching the ground.
  • Eat thicker solids with larger pieces
  • Use jaws to mash food with gums
  • pick up food with thumb and forefinger to eat on his/her own.
This is how it looks like
Overall review? It depends on babies, but Jelly loves it. I don't mind to pay extra for Jelly to eat them. See her expression below on how she enjoys it! But be sure to let them have plenty of water after consuming solids.
