Disposable Diaper review (Tesco Loves Baby - 2015 new version) - Discontinued on 2019

Tesco eventually do produce lower priced and similar quality products. I used to purchase the older version of this diaper but due to the outer surface layer of the diaper is easily degradable after baby moving around and Jelly loves tearing it so I had stop using it after finished 1 packet. Now they are back with a new design and package. So I was thinking why not give it a try again since it's absorbency is good, and best of all it is cheaper that most brands (I usually target price lower than RM0.45 per piece in order to be in my purchase list). I will do review based on my standards for PETPET

The Packaging Design

They have New Born which is Yellow in color too. The packaging is green for S to XXL size.

Jelly wearing
Back view
It is wide and fitted nicely to cover her large buttocks. LOL! It also has cute animals designs, and the side leak guard wont flip inside easily.

After 3 hours and a lot of moving around
Jelly is starting to walk now and after moving around (crawling, climbing and walking) for 3 hours and this is when she lay flat to charge her energy. After lots of moving the pad has moved center and causing a bump as per above photo. After 3 hours of wearing I feel that she is still dry and not sticky.

Side view
The diaper is folded C pattern so that it appeared in a U shape when we open it.

The inside view (unused)
It has a blue pad inside
It is also having a U shape to cater for baby's curved backside

The side tape
It is fully velcro tape and adjusting still possible
Review Summary:
Absorption: Good, leaving baby with almost dry skin after wee wee
Texture/Feeling: Similar texture compared to PetPet, and the outer layer has improved, in which it won't degrade like the older version and Jelly can tear it apart.
Price: I bought mine for RM26.90 (which is RM0.39 per piece). I have seen Tesco selling it for as low as RM25 per packet during offer periods.
Leakage: Very less as it absorb quickly even with baby moving around, also it has leak guards. But the inner pad will create a bump after lots of movement.
Source: Of course the only store is selling which is Tesco and Tesco Extra.
Notes to add: Jelly doesn't develop nappy rash from wearing it during daytime, and I have not tried her using it at night.
It is folded in C shape so it can cater to baby's curvy backside.
One advantage of purchasing Tesco products is that if you are not satisfied or expect higher standards, they are happy to refund or replace any Tesco products, by just contacting your local Tesco store. I didn't made any refund before so no comments.
UPDATE(Jan 2017): I realized that the diaper can't absorb as much as other brands and need to constantly change around 4-5 hours or it will leak. Therefore it's ok for a day time wearing and stay home, else if going out for longer hours, it's a little troublesome as we need to change while on the go to avoid leakage.
