Water World Seafood Buffet Steamboat (海底世界海鲜自助火锅 ） at BSP Waterfront Food Court Review

When the weather in Penang started to enter a raining season, we all do love to crave for steamboat! Cold chilling weather with a hot pot of boiling soup to sip on, SYOK AH! In this post, I will be reviewing on seafood buffet steamboat which located in Jelutong's Karpal Singh Drive. Enjoying seafood steamboat with a sea view is also a plus point!

The buffet is operating in a hawker center at BSP Water Front Food Court & Market. They are at the end of the hawker center.

Actually this photo is a second visit.. lol!

I didn't see those large prawns as advertised by others and also mantis prawns are also very little (I didn't see it during my 1st visit on on 2nd visit I think they only put up 5 plates and once finish then no more).

Overall Review :

Taste: Kinda feel thirsty after their meal and their laksa base is kinda salty. We arrived early to beat the crowd and eventually their seafood is not so fresh (especially the crabs) and after the old stock is finished then the new batch will be fresh. (FIRST IN FIRST OUT concept). I still prefer the normal chicken stock base soup more to the laksa base soup. (6/10)

Service: Self service and the workers will refill the seafood but it's purely based on availability (like mantis prawn). Normally their prawns and fried fish are their hot items! Drinks are ordered separately and usually there will be a waiter to take your order. Normally I will order the Jumbo apple juice and share, in which it is only at RM4.50 per jug. (8/10)
Price: RM39 per adult, RM20 for Child and elderly (above 70 years old), child below 5 eat for free

Cake Time (Cake) Review

Recently there is a cute bright colorful van appearing at residential areas and certain locations. My husband and I manage to spot the van at Juru Pasar Malam yesterday! My husband was excited and wanted to try their Japanese Cheese cake since it has been gone viral by people sharing around social media about how delicious was their cakes! All cakes are sold at a fixed price of RM10 per box.

DIY Breast Milk Mask

Since I had just started working, and Jelly is still breastfeeding, I need to pump at work. But Jelly is used to drinking fresh (direct latch) so she often refuse to drink expressed breast milk (maybe after a while it will have a smell since it's pure with no additives, LOL), therefore I will have a lot of ebm (expressed breast milk) left in the fridge. What to do with it? Since it's free, why not use it to wash face and apply as mask!

I was really trilled to join this event organized by several organizations (WABA, TBAN, Angugu, MMPS, Kumpulan Sokongan Susu Ibu Sarawak, Susuibu.com) on 7th August 2016. 1st - 7th August was recognized as National World Breastfeeding week (Wikipedia). I joined last year as well, but this year, we manage to enter The Malaysia Book of Records for the Largest Breastfeeding session Nationwide! A total of 820 moms breastfeed at 3pm for 15 minutes at 4 different areas (Petaling Jaya, Sarawak, Penang and Johor Baharu) nationwide! 

Since I am lucky to be in Penang, I joined the Penang event which located at St Jo's 3rd floor. It was crowded and a total of 150 of us came for this event.

This is a perfect place to fix all your snack cravings!!! This is HEAVEN for Jelly's daddy.. If he is with me, he will be spending at least RM50 on snacks alone! They are selling by bundle/wholesale and if you wanted to buy only loose packs, only some items has loose packs, not all, but no harm come to see what they have! This place is also HALAL!

Innisfree Smart Foundation Long Lasting SPF30 PA++ comes in a small tube of 15ml. I manage to have a chance to try out the No 23 color (true beige). To be honest, I am not a fair white lady, and easily gets dark if I am under the sun for a long period of time.

Innisfree is made in Korea, so the ingredients and instructions are all in Korean. It only comes in a 15ml tube. It is not complicated to apply a foundation. After applied your skincare routine, dispense a small amount of the foundation and lightly apply on the face and gently dab to onto your skin using a make up sponge. I also try applying some on my hand to see how it feels like. Below is a photo of the cream, it is watery mud texture. The tone I choose is a little brighter compared to my hand and face skin tone.

Texture/Feeling:
~ Light and thin, able to correct mild uneven skin tone, but if the tone shades are too far, it is still noticeable.
~ Doesn't melt easily if sweat.
~ No glitters and smeared nicely on the skin.

~ Comes in a tube form. Easy to keep in cosmetic bag.
~ When applied onto the skin, it is easily absorbed by the skin.
~ After wearing for 5 hours, foundation still performing OK on the face and doesn't flake or crack. Face also didn't feel oily after 5 hours.
