Bio-Nutricia Extract Product Review (Roselle Hibiscus, Butterfly Pea Flower, Lemongrass & Pandan Leaf)

We often use coloring in our foods right? We put coloring for food to be more attractive, like jello, tangyuan, and even kuih! In this post, I will share about Bio-Nutricia's Extract Products. They have 5 types of extracts and I am given the chance to try 4 of them which are Roselle Hibiscus, Butterfly Pea Flower, Lemongrass & Pandan Leaf! It's so interesting as all are in different colors!

Melktogen Chewable Tablet (Vanilla) Review

Piggy will be turning 11 months old in a few more days and my breastfeeding journey didn't get any better. I am still breastfeeding Piggy whenever I am home but my milk supply started shrinking very badly after my 1st mentrual period returned 2 months back, so bad that it used to be 20-25oz per day, reduced to only 8 or 10oz per day... Piggy also had no choice but to be introduced to formula at the age of 10 months old. When hormones messes with your body, you must know what you eat can only help a little. Like all other breastfeeding mom, we find ways to improve milk supply. There's where I source for this Melktogen with a lot of positive reviews. Jing Yua Seafood Restaurant (京园海鲜煮炒饭店) Review

It's during CNY when my family are in the mood to eat out instead of cooking and dine at home. We stroll around and apparently found this place and decided to dine in. It's our first time eating at Jing Yua Seafood Restaurant. As usual since it is still Chinese New Year, the shop is fully packed. We manage to get a table at the car park area (extended tables), but due to shortage of staffs, their cleaning service is kinda slow.

39 Alma Thirty Nine Kopitiam / Alma ShouMian (39亚里玛寿面) Review

Shou Mian is also known as Longevity Noodle in Mandarin, which is often served during birthdays, New Year or special occasion celebrated by Chinese ethics to wish for longevity. In Alma, Bukit Mertajam, my colleague eventually introduced me to this shop located around housing areas which has been operated quite some time.

Tee Online (上瘾食堂) in Bukit Mertajam Review

My colleague & I visited this shop in the afternoon during lunch time and it was almost packed. This shop offers meals from toast or bread to noddles and rice, suitable for light or heavy eaters.

Recently it's a hot trend in having Traditional Egg Sponge cake, almost everyone was craving about it. I was dining my lunch at Fresh Food Court today and I noticed they are selling these Egg Sponge Cake. Out of curiosity (of course only after I finish my meal), I approached the seller. They have 2 types of flavor, one is Original Flavor (priced at RM 13/box) and another is Cheese Flavor (priced at RM18/box).

This is a place which I need to share! In the heart of Bukit Mertajam, Penang, there's this stall that sells Beef Rice Noodle Soup / Beef Kuey Teow Soup! My husband's family cannot take beef so I curi-curi went with my colleague during lunch time. I haven't had beef noodle in a looooong time, and this visit just satisfies my craving! Yummy...

My Colleague introduce me to Marc's kitchen for lunch and I love it from the price and portion wise... LOL! They are located among a housing area but they are facing the main road so it's easy to find the place, but parking is a little scares if visit during peak hours.

Violet Bamboo Vegetarian 紫竹林素食馆 (Bukit Mertajam) Review

Sometimes me and my colleague feels like not wanting to have meat and we wanted to eat some vegetarian meal, and we decided to dine at Violet Bamboo Vegetarian. The shop is located at Taman Desa Damai, Bukit Mertajam. We just dine in during lunch time. It wasn't packed and it's a little humid and hot as it's a closed area, as we expected the air-con will be operating. Their menu was simple and we ordered their specialty Fried Porridge and Fried mushroom rice. Let's look at their menu  below:

This small cafe is located in Taman Kota Permai and is normally full of diners during lunch time. I used to dine here few years back and their diners still as plentiful as it was few years back. I then took my colleague to try this cafe recently and she is a fan of it.

LeBoss Cafe Restaurant (Sungai Petani) Review

Although it is a little far from where I am staying, but I personally LOVE this place. Looking for a place to eat as well as to keep toddlers busy, this can be the place! LeBoss is suitable for families to have dinner as kids can be kids!

As I used to dine here during University time, therefore I will always order their signature Chicken Chop with side dish of your choice. As there are only 3 adults with 1 toddler, we all ordered chicken chop with different side dish.

Below are their menus and price list, and it really looks fragile I really scared Jelly tore it apart! LOL! By the way they also offer gathering for events or occasions.

I will never say reject Char Koey Teow, as it is one of my favorite dish! It can be served at anytime of the day, in the morning as breakfast until as a midnight snack (watch out for the calories if taken as midnight snack, LOL!)

Recently there are a lot of those food specialty shop that only sells one type of cuisine with several modified varieties, and I do noticed this shop, Restaurant Wei Xiang, only selling Char Koay Teow at Alma. We just drop by and pick a spot to sit but we need to order at the counter.
