Based on previous experience using the Genki! Pants on Jelly, I have a good impression on their product (based on touch & feel). Since now GST has been abolished, some diaper price also becomes cheaper, and I also manage to buy it when I was shopping since if you follow my post, you know that I always use Normal PETPET Tape for my child (Even now on Piggy). After this review, I had fully switched to Genki! Tape since then... lol!

As time passes and Jelly started to love wearing pants type of diaper, I manage to get my hands on this Huggies GOLD Ultra Pants for Girls (Sample Link), as Huggies was saying is that the best way to know is TRY! I received the sample after 2 weeks and it is in 2pcs per packet. 

The girls version was in cute pink color and with a cute teddy bear design! Jelly even refuses to remove the pant diaper when I ask her to remove for a bath... It means even little girl (toddler) like Jelly loved the design!

I manage to get a packet of Genki! pants samples to try on Jelly since she is now at a active stage and seldom want to lie down to wear tape diapers. Heard that it is also a new diaper brand introduced in Malaysia just recently. Without further delay, I applied for the sample by email and I received the diaper by post 2 weeks later and it is in a mini pack of L10! Jelly is currently wearing L size (12kg & 85cm).

I had previously done a review on GOO.N normal tape diapers and now I was given a chance to review another diaper by GOO.N which is Japan Quality tape diapers. So in this post I will review the diaper and will also compare both diapers to show what is the difference between the normal GOO.N  tape diaper and this Japan Quality GOO.N Tape diaper.

The packaging is almost similar to the normal GOO.N diaper but with JAPAN QUALITY printed on top of the packaging. It also have some of the diaper features printed on the back of the diaper packaging as photos below:

After done with some space cleaning and I do still have some balance diapers for Goo.N when I purchased last year during an offer in Giant (RM28.90). My mommy circle told me that this is a good brand and it has good absorption (even can wear overnight), so I had an high expectation for this brand. After wearing it on Jelly, I feel that it is just normal and performed almost the same as PETPET. In this review I will post the photos of the diaper and summary of the diaper performance based on my standards for PETPET.

Disposable Diaper review (Tesco Loves Baby - 2015 new version) - Discontinued on 2019

Tesco eventually do produce lower priced and similar quality products. I used to purchase the older version of this diaper but due to the outer surface layer of the diaper is easily degradable after baby moving around and Jelly loves tearing it so I had stop using it after finished 1 packet. Now they are back with a new design and package. So I was thinking why not give it a try again since it's absorbency is good, and best of all it is cheaper that most brands (I usually target price lower than RM0.45 per piece in order to be in my purchase list). I will do review based on my standards for PETPET.

Disposable Diaper Review (Mamy Poko Easy Fit Pants)

I had been keen on having Jelly to wear tape type of diapers until in November 2015 I noticed there is a PWP(purchase with purchase) offer for Mamy Poko pants. Since Jelly started moving around, I think might as well get a packet to try, since Mamy Poko is a well trusted brand by most parents. I bought the Mamy Poko Easy Fit Pants in Giant at RM23 for L38 (Price is cheaper due to PWP).

This is how the packaging looks like (mainly Yellow with a little Blue corners). Sorry for the crumble packaging as it is almost finished. The L size is suited for 9kg to 14kg. But still need to see the baby's backside and thigh.

Disposable Diaper review (Dry-Pro)

About a month ago when I was at a year end sale at Parkson Bandar Perda (Bukit Mertajam, Penang), I noticed a not so familiar diaper brand. Due to being greedy in the discount and cheap price, I then bought 2 packet of this Dry-Pro disposable diapers. The price tag was RM33.90 and buying 2 packets and above qualifies for 20% discount which I bought at RM27.12 each. Eventually cheaper than my trusted brand PETPET.

After buying two packet of this diaper only I asked a few mommy's comment on this brand. Their comment was “烂" which means bad... Before I test it on Jelly, I was scared and feeling terrible as I had just spend money on a brand which no mommy trust. I was thinking no wonder it was selling so cheap...

Without finishing my current packet of diapers, I eagerly open and test it on Jelly. Surprisingly Jelly didn't develop any rash from wearing it! And as I see the quality was also good compared to PetPet.

Disposable Diaper review (Petpet)

Many new parents pay alot of attention on baby's diapers especially disposable ones.
Sometimes I feel that disposable diapers are like underwear for babies...

There are many type of diapers sold, the washable ones and the disposable ones. I fully prefer the disposable ones over the traditional cloth type (some known as lampin). Reason being as that I may be lazy to wash and it is kinda disgusting to wash with poo in it... Disposable throwing away type is not so eco friendly but appear to be more breathable and gentle to baby's skin... so its up to the parents to decide... 

Since Jelly was born, I had tried several diaper brands. Jelly's skin was not sensitive so most brands (tesco to mamypoko) she can wear without nappy rash. Until one day (around 4mo) she has nappy rash breakdowns! T_T

Since then most cheap brands appear to cause nappy rash for Jelly's beautiful backside...
