Nasi Campur Permai Tepian (Kampung Pertama) Review

When thinking about Nasi Campur, I prefer malay Nasi Campur because of the ulam! Ulam is malay version of salad of fresh raw vegetables eating with sambal instead of olive oil or mayonnaise. My mom loves to come this place for lunch because they have sweet soy sauce soak with onions, spicy sambal and pineapple curry salted fish! Let's see what we have for lunch (only 2 of us as Jelly is with my Mother in Law). By the way if Jelly were there, they have baby chairs too!

What we take : Ulam, salted fish, fried eggs and a piece of fried chicken,
pineapple curry with salted fish, fish curry with ladies fingers,
sambal and onion in sweet sauce

The crowd, even it's already a little over lunch time.

Overall Review :

Taste: Didn't feel thirsty after eating the meal. Love the sweet sauce with onion. My mom is a salted fish lover, she had fried and curry salted fish. The curry was yummy.  (8/10)

Service: Self service, pick your rice and dish and place on a table. The waiter will come to your table and asked for drinks and will give a price on a piece of paper then we will need to take and paper and pay at counter. They do not have a kitchen there and all food are cooked at a nearby place and carried over by the staff using a bike. The staff will even notify customers if any of the dish will be coming shortly. Lunch time will be fully packed and even have no place to sit and have to share table with other customers. 

Notes:

~ White rice is free flow, can top up FOC, but take how much you can finish, don't waste food.

~ Self service in selecting you dish.

~ Parking is available by the road side.

~ Open air concept, but you can choose to sit under a roofed area or under a shady tree.

~ Child seat is also available.

~ No GST
