As a new parent to a newborn, you would be shocked with the amount of poo a baby can make in a day. A newborn baby can "produce" up to 6 dirty poo diapers a day, not including wet diapers! As usual, I would source for budget diapers to pass through the newborn stage as newborns poo A LOT! I will review on Cutie Dry Tape diaper in this post.

Wearing experience
Baby Potato started wearing S size diaper when he is about 4.5kg - 5kg. Size of the diaper's inner coverage seems slightly smaller (by few mm) compared to Genki Tape S size, and I noticed it is easier to leak if wear for longer hours (example overnight).

Review Summary:
Absorption: OK, as long as you don't wear for longer hours, preferably changing every 4-5 hours, longer than that it will leak by the sides from the legs. Baby Potato still having watery poo every 2-3 hours so I will basically change his diaper 2-3 hours and even in the night. Watery poo also will leak pass through the leak guards and the outer layer of the diaper, so need to change ASAP if baby had pooped.
Texture/Feeling: The outer layer is a little stiff and hard. The inner part is soft but still stiff.
Leakage: OK for pee but not so good for watery poo as the poo will leak pass through the leak guards and the outer layer of the diaper, so need to change ASAP if baby had pooped.

Notes to add: Baby Potato doesn't develop rash when wearing. I have tested several days including overnight (which end up in a disaster, and do not recommend it if your baby still poo frequently at night). But if you are looking for a budget tape diaper, I could recommend Cutie Dry Tape during the day, as need to change fast and very frequently else the poo will leak through the leg's leak guards.
